Intel has joined hands with more than 150 industrial partners to launch data-centric software and hardware integrated solutions. Based on industry demand, Intel has distributed its computing product portfolio from cloud to end for many vertical fields such as retail, industry, transportation, finance, medical care, energy, education, etc. Taking the automobile industry as an example, based on deep technical accumulation and professional engineer team, Intel is discussing and communicating with local car manufacturers on technical solutions to continue to promote local innovation. In addition, Intel's hyper-energy cloud terminal solution helps solve the problem of enterprise centralized management, and provides enterprise users with automatic balancing of cloud, edge and end computing power, flexible scheduling, and personalized future computing architecture.




"Digitize × The "green" dual transformation is the main line of current scientific and technological development. In order to better promote the digitalization process of thousands of industries, Intel has promoted green development from cloud to end. For example, Intel, together with 20 information and communication industry partners and industry users in various fields, jointly set up a green data center technology innovation forum to accelerate the green transformation of the data center operation mode; In addition, based on the concept of "from cradle to cradle", through 14 breakthroughs and innovations in the four key links throughout the entire life cycle of PC products, the prototype of green low-carbon computers was successfully launched (the specific results include: the carbon emissions in the use link were reduced by about 67%, and the total recovery rate was more than 90%).




Intel also works closely with third-party partners in the industry, university and research community to promote green computing. For example, Intel, together with the Intelligent Industry Research Institute of Tsinghua University, will carry out research in the field of green computing in the data center, and will develop system solutions to form a landing business model and further expand industrial opportunities; Neuromimetic computing can continuously self-learning under the condition of low power consumption and a small amount of training data, greatly improving the energy efficiency ratio. Intel's Neuromimetic Research Community has more than 180 members, and its partners in China include Peking University, Fudan University, Pengcheng Laboratory, Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lenovo, etc.




Encourage new underlying technologies and promote open cooperation


As the cornerstone of the digital future, the semiconductor industry is currently in the adjustment period, but according to McKinsey and other institutions, the global semiconductor market size will reach US $1 trillion by 2030. With long-term confidence, Intel has implemented the IDM 2.0 strategy, strengthened implementation and deepened transformation.

As a semiconductor company, Intel insists on promoting the underlying technology innovation and continuously releasing the computing potential to meet the computing power demand of the digital future. For example, in terms of process technology, Intel is committed to regain the leading position in process technology in 2025 according to five nodes in four years; In terms of packaging technology, 2.5D packaging technology EMIB has been applied to mass production products, and 3D packaging technology has been continuously explored to further increase the number of transistors in a single device; In the research of cutting-edge components, recent progress includes the latest hybrid bonding research, which reduces the interconnection spacing to 3 microns, achieves interconnection density and bandwidth similar to that of monolithic system-level chips, and improves power density and performance by 10 times.




At the same time, Intel is committed to architecture innovation to improve its competitive advantage. Intel's processors have moved from single architecture design to distributed design. A successful example is the recently released fourth generation Intel Xeon processor, which integrates four units in one package and adopts the advanced EMI B packaging technology. Intel is also expanding its product layout and potential market scale, for example, it has launched consumer-grade independent graphics cards, data center GPUs and other products.




In addition, Intel gives full play to its expertise in large-scale manufacturing and provides system-level OEM services, including wafer manufacturing, packaging, pellets and software, bringing new possibilities for chip manufacturing and meeting diversified market demands. At present, seven of the ten largest customers in the world who need wafer foundry are actively exploring cooperation with Intel.
