On March 21, Guoxin Technology announced that the new generation of high-performance and high security edge computing chip product "CCP1080T" developed by the company had recently succeeded in the company's internal test.




The announcement shows that, in terms of performance, the first generation edge computing chip H2040 developed by Guoxin Technology is designed based on the 32-bit PowerPC architecture CPU C9500. Under normal conditions, the CPU operating frequency can reach 1.5Ghz, and the Dhrystone performance can reach 2.5DMIPS/Mhz. On the basis of the first generation 32-bit high-performance edge computing chip H2040, "CCP1080T" is a new generation of high-performance and safe edge computing chip developed by the company based on the independent 64 bit PowerPC architecture C * Core CPU core. The chip has a dual core C9800 high-performance 64 bit PowerPC architecture processor, which can run at a frequency of 1.8 Ghz under normal conditions, and the performance of Dhrystone can reach 3.1 DMIPS/Mhz.




The CCP1080T chip integrates a high-performance secure computing processing unit SPU (Security Process Unit) independently developed by Guoxin Technology. It built-in supports cryptographic symmetry and hash algorithms such as AES/SHA/SM3/SM4, with algorithm performance up to 20Gbps. It supports cryptographic public key algorithms such as RSA/ECC/SM2, and algorithm signature performance up to 70000 times/s. The CCP1080T chip is built with a reconfigurable high-performance symmetric cryptographic processing unit (RPU) independently developed by the company, which implements various common grouping and hash algorithms in a way that is instruction reconfigurable. The CCP1080T chip supports safe startup and conforms to the relevant standards of the State Security Processor.




At the same time, the CCP1080T has a high-performance DDR4 memory interface. The 8-channel high-performance Serdes interface can be multiplexed into multiple PCIE3.0 interfaces, multiple SATA3.0 hard disk transmission interfaces, and multiple gigabit network accelerator interfaces. In addition, there are low speed interfaces such as SD/EMMC and Nand flash storage interfaces, USB3.0 expansion interfaces, and IIC/SPI/UART.




In terms of application, the CCP1080T chip product can be used as a security coprocessor chip or a main controller chip with security functions in fields such as servers, security gateways, cryptomachines, routers, firewalls, industrial personal computers, PLCs, intelligent roadside devices, and small network base stations.




Guoxin Technology said that the above products of the company have independent intellectual property rights.
